Westfield Schools to Offer STEM Summer Camp

WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield Public Schools announced today that a week-long summer workshop is available for students in grades three through eight focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).

The camp, to be held at Edison Intermediate School, will run from July 8 through 12. Each day from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Westfield teachers will lead workshops on such topics as robotics, science technology, rocketry, Computer Aided Design (CAD), movie making and stop motion animation and Scratch Programming (Fundamentals for Kids). 

“Students will receive a high quality learning experience with state-of-the-art equipment and software,” said David Stoneback, Westfield Supervisor of K-12 Science. Tuition is $250 per student.
