Westfield Town Council Adopts Municipal and SID Budgets

WESTFIELD, NJ — The Westfield Town Council passed resolutions to adopt the municipal budget and the Special Improvement District budget Tuesday night.

The budget for the SID, which is run by the Downtown Westfield Corporation, remains flat for the fourth year in a row, noted Finance Committee Chair Sam Della Fera. Business owners in the SID pay a special tax.

“The money is put to very good use,” said Della Fera.

Councilwoman Jo Ann Neylan said she believed the DWC did a great job with its recent Girls’ Night Out event. Watch the town’s video from that event below.
