At a council conference meeting earlier that evening, Finance Policy Committee Chairman Sam Della Fera told that council that the finance committee had sat down earlier with Police Chief David Wayman and Fire Chief Daniel Kelly earlier to discuss their budgets.

Regarding the budget as a whole, which he expected to be completed during the next few weeks, Della Fera noted, “We’re in very good shape. This year is shaping up to be a lot less of a challenge than years past.”
