WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield Wine & Liquor celebrated its grand re-opening this weekend under new owner Sammy Patel. The shop is located at 276 North Ave. East, in Walgreens Plaza, where free parking is amply available.
“We’ve been here two months and, so far, the place has been filled with our loyal new shoppers,” said Patel.
“Having done extensive research — I had been searching for the perfect business for several years — I finally decided that I had to do something that I really like, and that was sales. At the moment, I recognize that I am in a great place, in a great town, and our parking lot is our special gift,” said Patel.
“I want people to come in and enjoy our fine selection of wines,” he said. “Among my favorites are La Crema, Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc, Marlboro from New Zealand and Cabernet Sauvignon Jordan Selection.”
The shop carries some popular beers, too.
“We do our best to stock our inventory with your favorite brews,” said Patel. “But, should you not be able to locate what you’re searching for, let us know. We’ll be able to get it for you in a few days. We pride ourselves on our friendly, courteous service.”
”Everyone knows, it’s all about beer and football,” said customer Jim Robinson of Westfield.
“Westfield Wine & Liquor has a fabulous selection of wine, beer and spirits,” added Rodney Rose. “It is the new winner in our town.”
“We’re encouraging everyone to come and check us out,” added Amit Patel, who works for his cousin Sammy at the shop. “We’re really happy with our location and our reception.”
