Roots & Wings, a New Jersey nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the critical needs of the state's aged-out foster youth, has welcomed Westfield residents Wendy Masteller and Shelley Rothenberg to their Board of Trustees. Ms. Masteller, who has called Westfield home for 40 years, is a retired Westfield middle school science teacher who taught in the school system for 35 years. Ms. Rothenberg has resided in Westfield for 16 years. She owns a management consulting business, which she started after retiring from AT&T. In addition she serves on the Board of Trustees of the Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless, Inc.
"We are thrilled to have these two tanted women join our Board, "Roots & Wings Executve Director Kim Spangenberg said. "Their skills and experience with young people will be a real asset to our organization. Wendy's educator's backgrond wil be invaluable on our policy and procedures committee, and Shelley's corporate experience is a perfect fit for strategc development and finance."
