CLARK, NJ — Hundreds of people of all ages and abilities participated in the Paul Jackson Fund’s Annual 5K, 2 Mile Walk and Kids’ Fun Run on Saturday, Sept. 21, at Oak Ridge Park in Clark. The fun-filled community event included refreshments, DJ, random prizes and kids’ activities.

The Paul Jackson Fund (PJF), started 22 years ago in Westfield, assists families who are in a financial crisis because of a long-term illness or disability. Over the years the PJF has assisted hundreds of families who found themselves in dire situations.

"It was a beautiful day," said Director of Development Mary Doherty. "The fund would like to thank our 300 participants, 30 volunteers, family, friends and our sponsors for making the 4th Annual 5K/ 2 Mile Walk/ Kids Fun Run a great success. Through their efforts the fund can continue to aid families facing difficult times due to medical crisis and continue Paul's mission."
