TRENTON, NJ —  Don't bother checking your mailbox on Monday, you'll find it empty. While UPS, FedEx, and, of course, Amazon will be making deliveries, the US Postal Service is closed for Presidents Day.

Most banks are also closed, so keep your ATM cards handy.

Most local and Mercer County government offices and facilities will also be closed for the holiday, reopening on Tuesday, February 18.

Our newsletter delivers the local news that you can trust.

The following County facilities will remain open: Trenton-Mercer Airport (except administrative offices), the Mercer County Correction Center, Sheriff’s Office and Emergency Services Communications Center.

Since most school children have the day off you might be seeking some family friendly activities.
