Whole Foods Market, has voluntarily recalled 365 Everyday Value White Corn Tortilla Chips due to an undeclared ingredient. The company stated in a press release that the product may contain undeclared milk that was not listed on the product label. The undeclared ingredient could cause a life threatening reaction to those who have an allergy to milk or who have a sensitivity to milk.
According to company officials, all affected products have since been removed from store shelves, The affected product was sold in Whole Foods Market and Whole Foods Market 365 stores nationwide and in Canada, said the company. There have been no reported reactions to date, they said.
The product was packaged in 20 oz. bags labeled 365 Everyday Value White Corn Tortilla Chips Salted-Party Size with UPC code 9948247145 and best-by dates between January 24-25, 2019, printed on the front top of the packaging.
Customers who purchased this product at Whole Foods Market can bring a valid receipt into stores for a full refund.
