SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- Willow Grove Presbyterian Church hosts a huge tag sale on Saturday June 14th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The sale will offer household items, furniture, children toys and books, children’s clothing through size 5/6, sporting goods, seasonal items, electronics, and more. There will also be hot dogs and water bottles for sale, as well as a bake sale with many delicious treats to choose from. Proceeds from the tag sale and the bake sale will support Willow Grove’s youth group summer mission trip to the Heifer Project working farm in Massachusetts and for the Sunday School program for the youth and children at Willow Grove Church.
Heifer Project International helps fight hunger and poverty globally by teaching sustainable farming and sending animals and supplies to areas of need. Heifer Project International also empowers women through teaching skills, crafting, and business techniques. Willow Grove Church’s Sunday School provides guidance and instruction in a nurturing environment for ages 3 through senior high.
The church is continuing to collect donations for their tag sale through Wednesday, June 11th. If you have donations in good working order, you may drop off items on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m. on the downstairs level of the church. Call ahead for furniture drop-off.
