At 9:56 p.m. Wednesday, the National Weather Service issued a Wind Advisory for northeast New Jersey, including West Essex. The advisory is expected to be in effect from 2 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday. The advisory was issued because of the likelihood of strong, gusty winds. West Essex is expecting 38 mph, Moderate Near Gale wind gusts 
which are classified as "difficult to walk against."

I-280 Traffic Shift Necessary This Weekend for Bridge Replacement Project
