Winter Weather Advisory for Union County Dec. 10


WESTFIELD, NJ — The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for snow for Union County in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 10. Snow accumulation of two to four inches is expected and visibility could reach below one-half mile in brief bands of moderate to heavy snow, according to the service.

Snow is predicted to develop during the morning commute and accumulation could create icy and hazardous travel conditions throughout the day.

The Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders sent out an alert Dec. 9 urging people take the appropriate precautions and drive safely, and to call Union County Police at 908-654-9800 for issues on county roads.
