Winter Weather Shortens Summit Schools' Scheduled Spring Break

SUMMIT, NJ - Superintendent of Schools Dr. Nathan Parker has announced that, due to the number of snow days caused by winter storms, spring break week, originally scheduled for April 14-18, will now be shortened by two days.

In order to make up the three required snow days, schools will operate on a full-day schedule on Monday and Tuesday of spring break, April 14 and 15. In addition, a third full day will be made up on Friday, May 23, which was a previously scheduled professional development day.
Spring break for Summit Public Schools will now begin Wednesday, April 16, and continue through Friday, April 18.
