WOOD-RIDGE, NJ - It was a speedy meeting of the Wood-Ridge Mayor and Council on Wednesday night at Borough Hall.

There were no ordinances on first or public hearing, no questions or comments from the residents during the open discussion part of the meeting, leaving only the consent agenda to be passed.

All items of the consent agenda were passed.

Borough Administrator Chris Eilert in his report noted that Wood-Ridge Athletic Complex had opened, and that the first high school’s girls game had been played on Tuesday at the new soccer field.  On Friday, the boys will be playing their first game there.

Councilman Ezio Altamura thanked the Wood-Ridge Girls Scouts and DPW for their decorating throughout the town.  He also noted that the Wood-Ridge Rag-A-Muffin parade and other town Halloween events had been canceled, but there was not a prohibition on trick-or-treating.
