WOOD-RIDGE, NJ - Wood-Ridge High School Athletic Director Marc Sinclair announced that Alexandra Paskas will be the new Wood-Ridge Volleyball coach, replacing Andrea Marino, who resigned in the spring to take over the program at William Paterson University.
“We are very excited to have Coach Paskas as our new Head Volleyball Coach,” Sinclair stated. “She has been an assistant coach for several years, and she is very knowledgeable about the game. Coach Paskas brings great energy on a daily basis and has found creative ways to adjust her practices to meet the current guidelines for each return to play phase.”
“I am truly honored to have this opportunity and follow in the footsteps of a winning program,“ Paskas stated. “I want to keep this program as successful as it has been in the past. With assistance and support from my athletic director, it has been a smooth transition so far.”
Paskas is looking forward to the 2020 season.
“I have a few goals for this upcoming season,” Paskas stated “I plan on working on building from the roots up. I want to get more involved with the middle school program and recreation so that we can hopefully open up to younger players eventually. This will definitely help us grow even more in the future!
“I have been waiting for this opportunity and I want to take full advantage of it.”
