YMCA Offering Water Exercise Program

County residents ages 60 and over are being invited to choose from a variety of water exercise programs that are being offered at the Somerset Valley YMCA's Bridgewater Aquatic Center, on Garretson Road.

The registration deadline for the programs throughout the summer is June 19.

Courses include water pilates, hydro, deep water exercises, aquatic boot camp and a beginner Learn to Swim.

The cost for 10-week sessions is $35, and the fee for a nine-week session is $31.50. The Learn to Swim program is $60 for 10 weeks, or $100 for both Mondays and Wednesdays. Participants must complete a registration form in advance of the deadline.

Contact the Somerset County Office on Aging and Disability Services at 908-704-6346 to get the proper registration forms. Checks can be made payable to the Somerset County Office on Aging and Disability Services.
