BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The Berkeley Heights Fire Department responded to a fire at Yogoccino Cafe at approximately 9 a.m. on Wednesday. The fire appears to have be an electrical one ignited in a computer located in a downstairs office.
Owner Steve Guastamacchia was thankful to be at Yogoccino at the time when the fire alarms went off and quickly responded to extinguish the fire.
Guastamacchia told The Alternative Press that he was not planning to come into the cafe, but after attending Ash Wednesday services, he had an hour to spare before heading to Staten Island to visit his father.
The Yogoccino crew is cleaning and sanitizing the dining room and will re-open for business Thursday morning at 9 a.m.
