PATERSON, NJ - Residents Zellie Imani and Talena Lachelle Queen have a lot in common, both are educators in local schools, both are reknowned poets, and both, as is evident through their actions, love the City of Paterson.

On Saturday, the two will add one more commonality between them as they help lead the annual African American Heritage Parade up Martin Luther King Blvd. as Grand Marshal and Female Grand Marshal respectively.

Also leading the line of march that will include bands, churches, and several local community and social organization, and begin at 10:00 a.m. from in front of the Masonic Temple is Rev. Jason Rogers, deputy grand marshal, and Rev. Frederick Harold LaGarde, honoray grand marshal.
