During quarantine many children are often very bored and in need of some activities to keep them engaged and excited. This may be especially the case for families that find it difficult to obtain or arrange activities in Morris County. Being stuck inside without friends to socialize with can really be challenging as well for the children as well as the parents.
A great way to help out kids at this time is by donating books to help keep them busy. It will assist parents and keep kids from going stir crazy. A few of us from Girl Scout Troop 95708 are working on our silver service project and we have placed collection boxes in certain locations for a book drive to help out Children on the Green (a nonprofit organization).
If you come across any of the boxes, please help us out and donate your new or very gently used books. Our drop off locations are at the Randolph Library (28 Calais Rd, Randolph), the Mt Freedom Post Office (1250 Sussex Turnpike, Mt Freedom), and the Randolph Senior Center (30 Calais Rd, Randolph).
We are collecting until August 15th.
Thank you for your support for this good cause!
