Chatham Borough Police: Delwood Avenue and Fairview Avenue Vehicles "Unlawfully Entered" During Overnight Hours

CHATHAM, NJ - On the morning of Monday, June 18th, 2018 residents from Dellwood Avenue and Fairview Avenue reported that their vehicles had been unlawfully entered overnight. Once inside, the individual(s) stole a variety of items, such as loose change, sunglasses, wallet, debit card and personal checks.

Detective Chase, along with members from the Morris County Sheriff’s Office - Criminal Investigative Section, responded and processed the scenes. All of the vehicles were left unsecure.

The Chatham Borough Police Department would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone to lock your car doors and to remove any valuables from within.
