Dear Editor:

I’m pleased to report that the 11th Annual Chatham Turkey Trot was our most successful race ever! The event broke all records, both in terms of participants – more than 1,000 runners – and in dollars raised – more than $30,000. This success will greatly benefit the organizations we support: the Chatham Township Volunteer Fire Department, the Diabetes Research Institutethe Chatham Emergency Squad and The Barton Center for Diabetes Education.

The Chatham Turkey Trot continues to offer the Chatham community an opportunity to come together to give thanks for all that we have and to raise funds for those dedicated to protecting and improving the lives of others. We remain grateful for the support of our neighbors, race participants, and local businesses, including: Lead Sponsor: Investors Bank, Gold Sponsor: The Law Offices of Rosemary Stone-Dougherty Esq.Silver SponsorsAllstate Johmann Insurance and Financial GroupBoxCar, Dreyer's Lumber and Hardware, Bronze Sponsors: HomeLightKitchen IntuitionsKlas ElectricKraftmaster RenovationsMorris Animal InnRedfin, Simonfay Landscaping, and Gifts-In-Kind Sponsors:  GoBallistic Sports, SunSweet, and Bradley and Sons Funeral Homes.
