I want to take this time to announce that I am finishing up my first book. It has been in the making for 3 years. I'm excited and I feel blessed about this.
The book is entitled "Faith Fortified" it is a book that details my life from as young as I can remember to the place I am at today. Again, I am grateful truly.
Many people are reluctant to disclose the accounts of their past. In fact, you will rarely find anyone nowadays who would be willing to share their story.
I'm not ashamed or afraid to do so. I'm convinced that lives can be enhanced by the testimonies of others. I believe that someone will be blessed by this.
Folks simply remember me as "Rev" or "Pops" because of my tendency to act older than my age in my High School days. I suppose they saw something in me that I couldn't see in myself.
The book reflects on when I began in the ministry and the struggles that went with it. If you think I was perfect, think again. This particular part of the book isn't for the faint of heart.
I discuss how I endured adoption and foster care. How I endured living in a shelter. I discuss how at one point I wanted to commit suicide and how I almost fulfilled my mission in 1997.
I talk about how I was written off and left without anyone to believe in me. I talk about the day I became a father for the first time and the circumstance that surrounded this.
in short, I outline my entire life: the good, the bad, and the ugly as well. It all comes out, and is placed before the eyes of the reader. No holds barred. I want to be as transparent as possible.
I believe this book is going to inspire, uplift, encourage and strengthen all who take the time to read this book. I intend to publish the book very soon. I feel blessed to be able to share what I have been through with the masses.
My sincere hope is that once you get a copy of my book, that you'll share it with someone else so that they, in turn can be blessed from it too.
All the best,
