I would like to thank everyone who supported and voted for me as your Ward 2 Councilwoman.  It was a privilege and honor to meet and greet our residents in Ward 2. I met many new people as well as people that I have worked with on the Hawthorne Environmental Commission, Green Team, and the Hawthorne Board of Education.  I’ve listened to your concerns and they will be addressed.

I was born and raised in Hawthorne, a product of the Hawthorne School System, and my daughter is attending Roosevelt School.  I will be utilizing my leadership abilities as the Hawthorne Environmental Commission Chairperson and bringing them to the Council.  Currently, I have a working relationship with Mayor Goldberg, the Council, the Borough Engineer, the Borough Attorney, the Department of Public Works, and the Hawthorne Police.  This is the basis for a foundation on how the Borough of Hawthorne operates and how projects are accomplished. Under my leadership, Hawthorne has become the 1st town in Passaic County to achieve the Silver Level since 2013.  Hawthorne is recognized as a Sustainable Leader.   I will continue to ensure that Hawthorne is financially and politically working for our residents.  By working as a Team, we can accomplish anything we set our mind to. This is only the beginning.

I especially would like to thank John Bertollo for giving me this opportunity and supporting my campaign. Mayor Richard Goldberg, Victor Terraglia, and Ralph Fava for the support and guidance in running my campaign.  I look forward to working with all our valued residents.
