To the Editor:
New Jersey is fortunate to have a state senator with the caliber of Mike Doherty. The words that he spoke at the Hunterdon County 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony were much needed. It was refreshing to hear the truth about the heroes of that fateful day. He is correct when he speaks about the importance of law enforcement. That is the first line of defense for our freedom. Look to our major cities to see what happens when the police are told to stand down. The homes and businesses of minorities are burned down by rich white kids who have been taught by our public school systems to hate freedom and embrace marxism.
Senator Doherty is owed an apology from those, including Mayor Driver, who walked out during his speech. The truth must hurt those that have been brainwashed by the Leftist media or that want to make America a less safe and less free country. Sen. Doherty mentioned many honorable black Americans who have written numerous books and have given speeches about how America’s founding principles can help anyone achieve success. Candace Owens is another dynamic author and speaker who is not afraid to tell the truth.
I recently met a couple who immigrated to the U.S. from Lithuania after the communists took over in the late 40s. They told me that they are afraid of what is happening with the loss of freedoms in America due to radical Leftists, and that they want to move back to Lithuania which is no longer communist.
At this time, more than ever, we need representatives like Mike Doherty who are not afraid to speak the truth, and are willing to educate the citizens of New Jersey and the USA about the goodness of America.
