The South Plainfield Education Foundation has held our telethon every year for many years.  Due to the cost of mailings, we were unable to mail a letter to all homeowners this year.  If you would like to donate to the South Plainfield Education Foundation this year, our pledge letter and the pledge form is located on our website.  You can mail a check to us to this address:

South Plainfield Education Foundation – P.O. Box 733 – South Plainfield, NJ 07080

This is our biggest fund raiser of the year.  Every year we have been able to give out 4 - $1000 scholarships and support our gold card program at the high school through the telethon.  If you are not aware of the gold card program – it is one in which a student at the high school can earn the gold card by having a GPA of 3.5, have no disciplinary issues and is involved in at least 2 extra-curricular activities.  The students have to qualify for the gold card each semester.  The gold card entitles them to free entry into all high school games and there are some local establishments that allow them discounts at their places of business.  At the end of the year, we have a picnic for all gold card recipients where we provide food and prizes to the students.
