Dear Editor,

The weather was beautiful as thousands of trotters, volunteers, sponsors and spectators ventured out on Thanksgiving morning to take part in the 13th Annual Krogh’s Turkey Trot. The Turkey Trot embodies Sparta at its best: families, individuals and local businesses coming together to benefit one of our community’s most valuable resources--our public school system and the students it serves.

The money raised at this popular fundraiser goes back to Sparta public schools in the form of educational grants. Please visit spartaeducationfoundation.org to learn more about the Foundation.

Our newsletter delivers the local news that you can trust.
