I will forever be grateful for the outpouring of support from Summit residents as COVID hit and small businesses like mine were threatened with closing their doors forever. If you ever doubted the resilience and generosity of our community, look no further than how we have came together and continue to fight for those most in need.
Throughout my experience navigating so many unknowns, I would not be where I am today without the support of one outstanding local leader - Eileen Kelly.
Eileen and I made an instant connection when we first met. She is so genuine, generous, and smart. When I was faced with how to adapt my business, connect with new customers, and navigate near endless paperwork, Eileen took a sincere personal interest in my challenges and worked with me every step of the way. A real weight was lifted off my shoulders with Eileen helping me and my business.
For this reason I did not hesitate to connect her with other members of Summit’s vibrant Hispanic business community. I knew she cared and I knew she would help - and she did. Sometimes the Hispanic community can feel left out, but Eileen’s own Ecuadorian heritage and ability to speak Spanish were immediately put to use connecting a few forgotten business owners with the rich resources of Summit’s generous residents.
This November please vote Eileen Kelly for Common Council so we can continue to benefit from her leadership. Eileen is smart, capable, and committed to serving our community. Please vote Eileen!
