Dear Monmouth County Voters,

I have had the good fortune of working with Vicky Flynn for the past 5 years on the Holmdel Board of Education. During the past 4 years, Vicky was selected to serve as Board President by her board peers.  Throughout her tenure, she has treated this position with the utmost seriousness and raised the bar for those who follow her in this role. Vicky volunteers countless hours addressing board issues and communicating with members of the board, district administration and the public.  Because of Vicky, we operate as a TEAM when addressing the school’s needs.

It is no surprise that, under her leadership, the Holmdel School District was one of the first to open full-time during this pandemic. Vicky was worried about the consequences of closing schools to students during this pandemic -- keeping schools closed this past September was never an option. She knew her Board members expected schools to be opened and that our community had similar expectations. Vicky’s drive and passion as School Board President has allowed Holmdel to continue to improve and evolve despite the pandemic because the Board strongly believes all students should be provided with an outstanding educational experience while also protecting the interests of the taxpayers.  Indeed, this year, the Board of Education adopted a budget that cut taxes. I am not aware of any other District with a similar track record of success.

Vicky is now seeking to serve alongside Gerry Scharfenberger as a member of the New Jersey Assembly for LD13.  I am writing to let you know that a Vote for Vicky Flynn provides Monmouth County with a unique opportunity to select a passionate and dedicated public servant to represent our County in Trenton.  I would ask that you please take the time to visit the polls on Tuesday, June 8th to Vote for Vicky Flynn so that she can join Gerry Scharfenberger and the entire Monmouth County Team to ensure that Monmouth County’s interests are well represented.

Losing Vicky as a member of the Board of Education is a tremendous loss for Holmdel; however, I am confident that Vicky will be an incredible force representing L13 in the Assembly, especially as the State grapples with the aftermath of the pandemic and the negative impact upon education.

Vicky’s work experience and her litigation skills make her a strong leader.  Vicky enjoys challenges, and can quickly navigate situations while achieving a successful outcome. Vicky’s drive and dedication to the Board of Education has been unwavering.  As our leader, she often places the needs of the school district above many other priorities in her life.  I am confident that she will bring this same level of high energy to her work as an Assemblywoman and be an incredible advocate for all of her constituents.

The future is bright with Flynn in the NJ State Assembly.  I urge you to get to the polls on June 8th and support Vicky Flynn.  It will be a decision you will not regret.

Very truly yours,

Eileen Briamonte
