Dear Editor,

I am writing to encourage every registered Republican voter in Hawthorne, and all currently unaffiliated voters who want to ensure that our community keeps moving forward in a positive direction, to take a few minutes out of their busy schedules on Tuesday, June 8, to go to the polls and cast their vote for John Lane for Mayor, and Dominic Mele, Anna Marie Sasso, and Bruce A. Bennett for Council at Large. You'll find them all on Row A, right at the top of the ballot.

When things are going well in a community, as they are in Hawthorne, it's easy for voters to assume that primary elections are just a formality, that they can wait until the general election in November to make their voices heard. But that would be a big mistake this year. With Mayor Goldberg retiring, it's more important than ever that you go to the polls and vote for the same team he's trusting to lead Hawthorne into the future—Team Lane.

John Lane, Dominic Mele, Anna Marie Sasso, and Bruce A. Bennett—honesty, integrity, experience, and the proven management skills that can lead Hawthorne safely into the future.

Respectfully yours,

Bruce A. Bennett

Councilman
