BELMAR, NJ — A select group of 21 Belmar Elementary School students was recognized by the school board for consistently reaching the pinnacle of academic performance.

At its May 23 meeting, the board of education presented the group of sixth- through eighth-graders with certificates for earning a 93 or higher in all subjects including related arts — for the entire school year.

  • Sixth grade: Adrian Garcia, Scarlett Morton and Ryan Orlowski.
  • Seventh grade: Ella Herbert, Gavin Lisko, Ethan Miller, Julia Nicolay, Francesco Viterbo and Hannah Wilton.
  • Eighth grade: Jacqueline Litowinsky, Isabel Lusardi, Raul Olmedo, Logan Orlowski, Madeline Orlowski, Fiona Reilly, Maeve Reilly, Estephany Riano, Emma Rokoszak, Sophia Rokoszak, Nicole Tonny and Eber Trejo.
