Belmar Police Department reported that 17 arrests occurred in Belmar and Lake Como from January 1 through January 28, 2020.

Griffin McParland, 22, of Bernardsville was arrested on 13th Avenue on January 1 by Police Officer Kevin Marron, charged with criminal trespass for burglary/breaking and entering, criminal mischief for committing an act of destruction, damage and vandalism, sleeping in public and indecent exposure.

Jenny McClintock, 49, of Long Branch was arrested on Route 35 in Neptune City on January 4 by Police Officer Patrick McGill, charged with contempt on an outstanding warrant.

Damien Gibson, 45, of Edgewater was arrested on Route 35 in Neptune City on January 4 by Police Officer Patrick McGill, charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use a controlled dangerous substance, disorderly conduct and contempt on an outstanding warrant.

Mitchell Perez, 39, of Belmar was arrested on First Avenue on January 6 by Sgt. Michael Yee, charged with aggravated sexual assault on a victim age 13 or under and endangering the welfare of the child.

Brett Roach, 47, of Toms River was arrested on Fifth Avenue on January 10 by Police Officer Philip Bohrman, charge with driving while under the influence, refusing to submit to a breathalyzer test, reckless driving, driving with a suspended driver’s license or suspended registration, having fictitious license plates, delaying traffic and not traveling within marked lanes.

Erik Parker, 36, of Belmar was charged with criminal mischief for committing an act of destruction, damage and vandalism after this January 13 arrest on Ocean Avenue by Police Officer Philip Bohrman.

Justin Bertelson, 30, of Lake Como was arrested on Ocean Avenue on January 13 by Police Officer Kevin Jones, charged on an outstanding warrant.

Douglas Johnson, 40, of Neptune was arrested on Route 35 on January 14 by Sgt. Michael Yee, charged with possession of marijuana and intimidation.

Gabriel Romas, 37, of Union Beach was arrested on 13th Avenue on January 17 by Police Officer Nichole Hawkins, charged on an outstanding warrant.

Dann Pulsifer, 52, of the Oakhurst section of Ocean was charged with hindering apprehension and providing false identification after his January 23 arrest on Route 138 in Wall by Police Officer Anthony Steneck, who was assisted by Police Officer Corey Whitman.

Natanel Meirov, 20, of Brooklyn, was arrested on Route 35 on January 24 by Police Officer Kevin Jones, charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use a controlled dangerous substance.

David Martinez, 30, of Long Branch was arrested on Marina Avenue on January 25 by Police Officer Gregory Desserich, charged with disorderly conduct and interference of business.

Jose Rojas-Mena, 29, of Belmar was charged with criminal mischief for committing an act of destruction, damage and vandalism, and disorderly conduct after his January 25 arrest on Main Street by Police Officer Peter Speakman, who was assisted by Police Officer Philip Bohrman.

Anthony Dowsell, 27, of Howell, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, use or under the influence of a CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use a CDS after his January 27 arrest on Route 35 by Police Officer Nichole Hawkins, who was assisted by Police Officer Anthony Steneck.

Kira Yeakey, 22, of Neptune City was charged on an outstanding warrant after her January 28 arrest on 13th Avenue by Police Officer Anthony Steneck, who was assisted by Police Officer Corey Whitman.

Eric Joseph, 30, of Macungie, Pa., was arrested on Main Street on January 18 by Police Officer Kevin Jones, charged with shoplifting and interference of business, and on an outstanding warrant.

Joseph Wolfe, 53, of Lake Como charged with criminal mischief for committing an act of destruction, damage and vandalism after his January 25 arrest on Margerum Avenue by Police Officer Lawrence Kelly, who was assisted by Sgt. Ryan Nolan.
