BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Brooklyn woman was arrested after being found with more than $500 worth of items from Target, in the Bridgewater Promenade, according to a report from Bridgewater Township Police.

Chao Ling Chen, 25, was arrested for shoplifting after being found with $569.99 worth of items at 4:36 p.m. March 2.

According to police, she selected Lego sets, then went into the self pay line where she did not pay for more than $500 worth of items.

Chen was processed and released pending a court date.

Police made other arrests for shoplifting and more over the last week.

  • Taylor Nicole Tarabokija, 19, of Clinton, was charged with shoplifting at 5:10 p.m. Feb. 28 after being found with $163.93 worth of items she did not pay for at Target, in the Bridgewater Promenade. According to the report, she selected clothing, then went into a self pay line where she did not pay for $163.93 worth of items. Tarabokija was processed and released pending a court date.
  • Melissa C. Labanda, 34, of Bridgewater, was arrested for shoplifting after being found with $213.16 worth of items from Target, in the Bridgewater Promenade. According to police, she selected clothing, jewelry and other items, then went into the self pay line where she did not pay for $213.16 worth of items. She was processed and released pending a court date.
  • Kathleen J. Janelli, 60, of Bridgewater, was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle crash on Vanderveer Road at 12:39 p.m. Feb. 28. Janelli was issued summonses for driving while intoxicated, careless driving and failure to yield the right of way. She was processed and released pending a court appearance.
  • Aldo Pagnotta, 23, of Bridgewater, was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Chimney Rock Road at 9:45 p.m. Feb. 25. Pagnotta was issued summonses for driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, driving on a closed road, failure to maintain a lane and disregard of an officer directing traffic. He was processed and released pending a court date.
  • Farrod K. Robinson, 27, of Plainfield, was arrested on marijuana charges after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Route 22 West at 10:55 p.m. Feb. 23. During the stop, police said, there was a strong odor of marijuana inside the vehicle. He was arrested for possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, and issued summonses for tinted windows, maintenance of lamps and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.
