BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township Police are investigating two different reports of burglaries toward the end of February from homes in the area.
A Bridgewater resident reported Feb. 21 that there was a burglary to his motor vehicle while it was parked and unlocked on Winder Drive. According to the police report, the owner's keys and wallet were taken.
In addition, a Stella Drive resident reported a burglary to his home Feb. 23. According to the report, copper water lines were taken.
Police also made an arrest for an outstanding warrant.
- Kemar R. Purcell, 39, of Clark, was arrested Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. on an outstanding warrant. He was unable to post bail and was lodged in the Somerset County Jail pending a future court date.
