BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Plainfield man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after committing a number of motor vehicle violations on East Main Street Oct. 14 at 12:31 a.m., according to a report from Bridgewater Township Police.

Omar A. Hardy, 20, was issued summonses for DWI, failure to maintain a lane, failure to signal a turn, failure to keep right, reckless driving and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

He was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.

Police made other arrests for DWI and more over the last week.

  • Andre M. Heredia, 26, of Bridgewater, was arrested Oct. 21 at 4:59 a.m. for driving while intoxicated after committing motor vehicle violations on Van Holten Road. He was issued summonses for DWI, reckless driving, obstructing safe passage, idling, failure to wear a seatbelt and DWI in a school zone. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.
  • Jatciri J. Guzman-Rios, 22, of Chester, was arrested for DWI Oct. 19 at 2:03 a.m. after committing motor vehicle violations on Route 202/206 South. He was issued summonses for DWI, careless driving, reckless driving and failure to maintain a lane. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.
  • A resident of Tullo Farm Road reported Oct. 4 that there was a burglary to his residence.
  • A business on Route 28 reported Oct. 7 that there was a burglary to their office.
  • Juan Rivera-Escobar, 34, of Middlesex, was arrested Oct. 19 at 3:12 p.m. for shoplifting and criminal mischief at the Target at the Bridgewater Promenade. According to the report, Rivera-Escobar shoplifted electronics, sunglasses and food valued at $288.77. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.
  • Sadi Brandi Kai Buckeridge, 30, of Piscataway, was charged with shoplifting Oct. 15 at 3:31 p.m. after being found with over-the-counter medicines, valued at $182.65, from Target, at the Bridgewater Promenade. She was processed and released pending a court appearance.
  • Nicole T. Hemmings-Hamm, 39, of Piscataway, was arrested Oct. 15 at 3:31 p.m. after being found with over-the-counter medicines and cleaning supplies valued at $169.56. She was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.
