On November 27, 2018 at 3:39 p.m., Ptl. Raymond Cassella stopped a vehicle displaying dark tinted windows. It was determined that the operator, a 22 year old male from Newark, was driving with a suspended license. He was arrested, processed, and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On November 27, 2018 at 8:04 p.m., officers responded to a Highfield Lane address for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and the subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 18 year old female driver from Totowa for possession of marijuana. She was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On November 28, 2018 at 5:32 p.m., Ptl. Nicole Witel responded to a report of a disabled ambulance. Upon her arrival she reported that the ambulance was on fire. She extinguished the fire with a fire extinguisher from her vehicle. The fire department then inspected the vehicle to ensure there was no further fire.

On November 29, 2018 at 3:09 a.m., Ptl. Anthony Grigolo stopped a vehicle for failing to maintain a lane. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 20 year old male driver from Bloomfield for driving with a suspended license. He processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On November 29, 2018 Ptl. Joseph Russomanno took a report of a theft of a commercial scissor lift from a Sand Park Road business. The equipment, valued at $5800, was taken from the parking lot. The detective bureau is reviewing surveillance video from the area.

On November 30, 2018 at 1:49 a.m., Ptl. Anthony Cardona stopped a vehicle for speeding and failing to maintain a lane on East Lindsley Road. The operator, a 65 year old male from North Caldwell, exhibited signs of intoxication. Upon further investigation he was arrested for driving while intoxicated and his vehicle was impounded. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On November 30, 2018 at 10:33 a.m., Ptl. Raymond Cassella stopped a vehicle displaying dark tinted windows. It was determined that the operator, a 24 year old male from Cliffside Park, was driving with a suspended license. He was arrested, processed, and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On December 2, 2018 at 9:12 p.m., Ptl. Justin Westra stopped a vehicle for speeding along East Lindsley Road. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 20 year old male driver from Fairfield for possession of marijuana. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
