CHATHAM, NJ - On October 6, 2019 Patrolman Brian Kelly arrested Andrew J. Ott, 18 of Chatham Township, for Hindering Apprehension. Officers encountered Ott while investigating a stolen vehicle report. During the investigation, Ott provided Officers a false name and date of birth. He was arrested and charged with Obstruction of Law, a 4th degree crime, and released pending an October 23 rd court date.

On October 7, 2019 Sergeant Daniel Papa arrested James D. Wadsack, 36, of Chatham Township, for Possession of CDS and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Officers encountered Wadsack while investigating a suspicious vehicle report. Wadsack was located in the area and subsequently arrested for 3rd Degree Possession of suspected Cocaine, Possession of Suspected Crystal Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving under the Influence,
Operating an unsafe vehicle, and numerous equipment violations. He was released pending a future court date.
