CHATHAM, NJ - On February 25, 2020, Chatham Township Police Department’s Detective David Gallo charged C. Patton, age 40 of Sparta, NJ with burglary and theft stemming from a September 2018 burglary to a residence on River Road.
On September 7, 2018, a River Road resident reported that her home had been forcefully entered and several pieces of jewelry and cash had been taken from
the master bedroom. Chatham Township Detectives, with the assistance of the Morris County Sheriff’s Department CSI, were able to gather evidence left at the scene that ultimately led to the arrest of Patton. Patton was charged and remanded to the Morris County Correctional Facility.
On February 11, 2020, Patrolman Ronald Anderson observed a vehicle traveling west on Shunpike Road with an equipment violation. Patrolman Anderson conducted a motor vehicle stop and made contact with the driver, identified as A. Morales, age 21 of East Stroudsburg, PA. A subsequent investigation by Patrolman Anderson resulted in the arrest of Ms. Morales for Possession of Marijuana. In addition, Ms. Morales was issued summonses for Possession of CDS in a Motor Vehicle and Maintenance of Lamps and released pending a future municipal court date.
On February 26, 2020, T. Johnson, age 61 of East Orange, NJ was arrested for possession of Marijuana, Possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of CDS in a Motor Vehicle. Mr. Johnson’s arrest stemmed from a motor vehicle stop conducted by Patrolman Anthony Campanelli on Southern Boulevard. Mr. Johnson was released pending a future Municipal Court appearance.
