Sammie Mackey Jr., 25, of New Brunswick, NJ was arrested on a $500.00 outstanding warrant out of Franklin Twp., NJ. Mackey Jr. was transported to the Somerset County Jail in lieu of bail. “NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”

A Becket Pl. residence sustained fire damage during the early morning hours. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.

A Somerset resident reported the theft of a Samsung Galaxy S9 cell phone from a Veronica Ave. business during the morning hours of May 22, 2019.

During the early morning hours, an unknown suspect attempted to gain entry to a Rt. 27 business. The suspect threw a rock through the front window but was unable to shoulder through the broken glass to enter the business. 
Unknown suspect(s) threw rocks through the window of two Holland Dr. residences during the evening hours.

An unknown White male shoplifted over $800 in over the counter medication from an Easton Ave. business during the afternoon hours of May 21, 2019.

Dejonahe Hayler, 21, of Somerset, NJ was arrested on outstanding warrants out of Deptford and Burlington County Sheriff’s Dept., NJ. Hayler was transported to the Somerset County Jail in lieu of bail. “NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”

Cameron Willis, 27, of New Brunswick, NJ was arrested on a $500.00 outstanding warrant out of New Brunswick, NJ. Willis was released on bail. “NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”

Lamont Johnson, 61, of Somerset, NJ was arrested on a $1000.00 outstanding warrant out of Camden, NJ. Johnson was released on his own recognizance. “NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”

Sean Lamont, 21, of Felton, PA was arrested in the early morning hours for DWI subsequent to a motor vehicle accident investigation. Lamont was released from custody. “NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”

Unknown suspect(s) spray painted a Selby Ct. resident’s vehicle during the overnight hours.
During an unspecified time frame, unknown actor(s) stole garden tools from a vehicle parked on Easton Ave.

Kevin Roberts, 62, of Somerset, NJ was arrested on a $1250.00 outstanding warrant out of New Brunswick, NJ. Roberts was transported to the Middlesex County Jail in lieu of bail. “NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”

Angelique Powell-Smith, 51, of North Brunswick, NJ was arrested for Hindering. Michael Engelhard Jr., 31, of Somerset, NJ was arrested on an outstanding no bail warrant out of Burlington City, NJ. Engelhard Jr. was transported to the Somerset County Jail in lieu of bail. “NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”

Mohamed Fofanah, 29, of Somerset, NJ was arrested for Trespassing. Fofanah was released from custody. “NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”

Sometime between May 24, 2019 and May 28, 2019, unknown actor(s) broke the window of a John Deere Skid steer that was parked at a Ralph St. residence.
An air conditioning condenser was reported stolen from a Campus Dr. business sometime between February 1, 2019 and May 28, 2019.

A fire that started in the garage of a Ruppert Dr. residence was reported during the evening hours. The fire was deemed to be not suspicious and no injuries were sustained as a result of the fire. One vehicle parked inside the garage sustained damage.
