During the period between July 1 and July 7, 2019, members of the GRPD handled 211 calls for service, the highlights of which included:
7-5-2019 - 10:55 AM – P.O. Mattina responded to the Glen Rock DPW on a report of a theft. The victim, a DPW employee, stated that he had left his borough issued cell phone charging in the office and left the building. When he returned to the building, the phone was gone. The Glen Rock Borough Administrator then received a notification that an unknown party was attempting to open a cell phone account using the stolen cell phone. The detective bureau is investigating.
7-6-2019 - 1:40 PM – P.O. Mattina responded to a residence on Austin Place on a report of a theft of a package. The victim stated that he ordered an item through Amazon which was shipped to his home. He received notification that the package was delivered to his home on July 5 at 1:04 PM. When the victim went to retrieve the package from the front of his home, it was missing. The detective bureau is investigating.
