During the period between June 22 and June 28, 2020, members of the GRPD handled 288 calls for service, the highlights of which included:
6-25-2020 - 2:03 PM – P.O. Graziani responded to Bottle King, located at 909 Prospect Street, for a report of an underage male attempting to purchase alcohol with a fraudulent identification card. The actor, a 19-year-old male out of Englewood, was charged by P.O. Graziani with attempting to purchase the alcohol with a fraudulent Maine drivers license. The actor was released on a special complaint summons with a court date in the Glen Rock Municipal Court.
6-26-2020 - 2:42 PM – A resident of Berkeley Place contacted police headquarters to report damage to a lawn sign. The resident stated that sometime between 10:00 PM on June 25th and 08:00 AM on June 26th, a political lawn sign on her front lawn was ripped from its stake, torn, and thrown on her lawn. She stated that two other nonpolitical lawn signs were also on her lawn, but they were left untouched.
6-26-2020 - 10:41 AM – P.O. Orsita responded to Charity Navigator, located at 139 Harristown Road, on a report of a theft from the business. The employee stated that the company is in the process of moving to a new location and employees have been working remotely. It was discovered on this date that a floor safe had been removed from the office by an unknown actor. The safe contained a variety of company documents. The detective bureau is investigating.
