A criminal complaint is merely an accusation. Despite these accusations, the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

Incident Title: MV stop – Possession stolen car
Suspect information: Jenet Meta 18 y/o female from Hawthorne
Vehicle information: 2004 BMW 325
Description of incident: Above vehicle pulled over on Lincoln Avenue, after a run of the license plate, which showed that the vehicle was stolen. The driver, above listed female, stated that she was just driving her dad’s vehicle. It was confirmed that the vehicle was reported stolen out of Kinnelon. The above suspect was arrested and transported to police headquarters for processing. The suspect was charged with receiving stolen property and released pending a CJP court date.

Incident Title: MV stop – Possession of heroin with intent to distribute
Suspect information: Kevin Fanning 27 y/o male from Liberty NY
Vehicle information: Blue 2002 GMC Envoy
Description of incident: Above vehicle pulled over on Goffle Road near Watchung Drive for MV violations. While speaking with the driver, officers noted several inconsistencies as to where he was coming from. Officers also noted a non-natural square looking bulge coming from his pants area. The above driver then removed 5 bricks (50 glassine envelopes of heroin per brick) from his pants and gave it to officers. The driver was arrested, and upon further searching, other items of paraphernalia were located on his person (straw with heroin residue). The accused was transported to Passaic County Jail awaiting his CJP court appearance.
