BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Hillsborough man was arrested Aug. 9 for shoplifting after being found with two televisions from Target, according to a report from Bridgewater Township Police.

Kyle Demonte, 32, was arrested for shoplifting at 6:25 p.m. after being found with two televisions, valued at $564, from Target, in the Bridgewater Promenade.

He was processed and released pending a court date.

Police made other arrests for shoplifting and more in early August.

  • Brianna Vasquez, 24, of Somerville, was arrested Aug. 11 at 2:45 p.m. for shoplifting from Target, in the Bridgewater Promenade, after being found with $110 worth of merchandise from the store. She was processed and released pending a court appearance.
  • Theresa Marie Mosko, 19, of Lebanon, was arrested Aug. 13 at 7:15 p.m. for having burglar tools and shoplifting after being found with a Michael Kors purse and bracelet worth $250 from Macy's, in the Bridgewater Commons Mall. She was processed and released pending a court appearance.
  • A resident of Linden Street reported Aug. 3 that someone entered his garage and stole a 2018 Red Honda CRF-450RX motorcycle.
  • A Warren resident reported Aug. 4 that someone stole her purse from her unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot of Costco.
  • Stephanie Salvatore, 30, of Somerset, was arrested Aug. 9 at 5 p.m. for shoplifting after being found with $76 worth of clothing from Target, in the Bridgewater Promenade. She was processed and released pending a court appearance.
  • A Newark resident reported Aug. 3 that someone slashed the tires of her vehicle while it was parked in the Care One of Somerset Valley parking lot, on Route 22.
  • A Doolittle Drive resident reported Aug. 17 that someone spray painted her vehicle while it was parked in front of her home.
