PTL Travis Dilts arrested James Waters, 24, of Union after it was revealed during a motor vehicle stop that he had an outstanding criminal warrant in the amount of $5,000 out of Newark.  Waters was issued a summons and released with a new court date.

PTL Travis Dilts arrested Anthony Biancone, 49, of Kenilworth during a motor vehicle stop after he was found to have outstanding warrants totaling $2,843 from the Union County Sheriff’s Office.  Biancone was processed and turned over to the Sheriff’s Office. 

Date and Time – 1/24/20 at 7:50pm

Units were dispatched to North 13th Street in Kenilworth on the report of a suspicious parked vehicle.  There, DET Sean Kaverick arrested Nicholas Santos, 20, of Elizabeth for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (marijuana).  Santos was processed and released with a municipal court date.

Units responded to Union when a county alarm broadcast reported a carjacking at knife point in their town.  PTL Robert Rueger and PTL Travis Dilts responded to assist in the search for the suspect vehicle.  PTL Dilts located a male on route 22 matching the description of the suspect.  PTL Dilts attempted to make contact and the male fled on foot.  The male, Ollie Jones, 61, was apprehended after a brief foot pursuit and found not to be the suspect in the carjacking but was wanted on multiple warrants.  Jones was arrested and brought to headquarters where it was revealed he was wanted on a $10,000 criminal warrant out of Newark and a separate criminal warrant out of Pennsylvania.  He was charged with Obstructing the Administration of Law and released with new court dates for his outstanding warrants.

PTL Raymond Fuschino encountered a suspicious male loitering on Harding School property during school hours.  After an investigation, Jaquan Baisden, 27, of Roselle was subsequently arrested for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (marijuana). He was brought to headquarters where he was released with a municipal court date.

PTL Travis Dilts arrested James Khirhy, 22, of Maplewood after an inquiry during a motor vehicle stop revealed he had multiple warrants from the City of Newark. He was turned over to Newark PD to satisfy his warrants.
