February 18, 2020 Motor Vehicle Theft: At approximately 6:32 p.m., a motor vehicle was stolen from a residence on Schaefer Rd.  The vehicle was left unsecured with the keys in it at the time of incident.

February 18, 2020 Trespassing to Motor Vehicle: At approximately 9:14 p.m. a male subject was observed entering a vehicle parked in a driveway on Berkshire Rd.  Once the male noticed he was seen, he fled and was unable to be located.  The vehicle was left unsecured and no items were reported missing.  

February 19, 2020 Shoplifting: At approximately 8:42 p.m., Kings Supermarket employee reported observing a male concealing multiple red bulls and several bottles of Nyquil in a backpack.  The male left the store without paying and was unable to be located.

February 20, 2020 Theft from Vehicle: At approximately 7:45 p.m., an unsecured vehicle was entered by an unknown person while it was parked in front of 2 Inwood Pl. Multiple items were reported missing from the vehicle.

February 21, 2020 Theft: At approximately 6:01 pm, resident from Hilton Ave. reported observing a female come onto her property on two occasions and take newspapers off of her front porch.  The female was last seeing walking east on Hilton Ave.

February 27, 2020 Trespassing: At approximately 1:07 a.m., a resident on Wetmore Ave. observed a male subject dressed in dark clothing attempt to enter two vehicles parked in her driveway.  No entry was gained as both vehicles were secured.  The male was unable to be located at the time.

February 28, 2020 Motor Vehicle Theft: At approximately 11:42 p.m., a motor vehicle was stolen from the Wawa parking lot.  The driver left the vehicle unsecured and running while he entered the store to make a purchase.

The Maplewood Police Department works hard to protect the residents and their property.  We are asking that you assist us in this effort by making sure all vehicles and homes are properly secured at all times.  All charges are merely accusations.  Each suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
