MONTCLAIR, NJ - The following blotter was compiled and released by the Montclair Police Department on September 17, 2019:
Stolen Motor Vehicles
September 11, 2019 (Claremont Avenue): Complainant reports that a 2019 Ford
Edge was stolen from the side of her residence. The vehicle was later recovered in
the area of 15 th Avenue in Newark. A possible suspect is described only as a male
last seen wearing gray sweatpants as well as a blue-colored hooded sweatshirt with
the hood pulled over his head.
September 11, 2019 (Union Street): Complainant reports that his 2004 Suzuki
GSX Hayabusa motorcycle was stolen from Union Street sometime between the
night of September 10 th and the evening of September 11th .
Sptember 10, 2019 (Washington Avenue): Resident of an apartment building
reports that a package containing over $230 in clothing was stolen from the
September 13, 2019 (Bloomfield Avenue): An employee at Ani Ramen reported
that an iPod Touch, valued at $110, was stolen from a countertop.
September 15, 2019 (Hawthorne Place): Complainant reports that her Kia Optima
was rummaged through and a flight bag containing a credit card swipe machine
September 15, 2019 (Valley Road): Complainant reports that sometime over the
previous two weeks, a “Giant” men’s road bicycle, valued at $400, was stolen from
September 12, 2019 (The Fairway): The complainant, a 26 year old female
resident, reports that she was walking on the Fairway when a black SUV pulled up
to her, with the driver mumbling something in an attempt to get her attention. The
driver then repeatedly offered the complainant money in exchange for sex. The
male drove off when the complainant motioned that she was going to take his
photograph with her cell phone. The suspect is described as a white male with fair
skin, black hair, long curly sideburns, in his late 30s to early 40s. He was last seen
wearing a yarmulke and operating a vehicle with possible New York license plates.
September 13, 2019 (North Willow Street): An employee reports that someone
attempted to gain access to the parking attendant stand sometime between the
evening of the 12 th and the morning of the 13th . Two windows to the stand were
damaged and damage to the door was consistent with someone attempting to pry
their way in.
September 10, 2019 (Elizabeth PD): Montclair Police Officers took custody of
Kevin Williams, 32 years old, of Montclair, after it was determined that he had a
warrant issued by this jurisdiction.
September 10, 2019 (Bloomfield Avenue): Nicholas Pinto, 25, of West Orange,
was charged with driving while intoxicated.
September 11, 2019 (Park Street): Jevon Dunmore, 21, of Montclair, was charged
with driving while intoxicated.
September 15, 2019 (Bloomfield Avenue): Trevor Williams, 32, of New York, was
arrested after it was learned that he had an outstanding warrant issued by
