On October 1, 2019 – Following a motor vehicle stop, Robert C. Schenk, age 32 of Montville Township, NJ was arrested by P.O. Daniel Sullivan for Possession of Marijuana under 50 grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Mr. Schenk was processed accordingly, issued a Complaint-Summons and several motor vehicle summonses for his violations, then advised of his mandatory first court appearance date in Randolph Twp. Municipal Court.

On October 3, 2019 – A Randolph resident responded to Police Headquarters to report receiving a fraudulent phone call.  The resident reported that they had received a phone call from a male subject claiming to be a representative from “Social Security Company”.  The caller asked the victim for personal identifying information and their social security number.  The victim initially provided their personal information to the caller; however, they then immediately realized that the call was a scam and stated the same to the caller, who in turn hung up.  The victim was advised to report the incident to their bank as a precautionary measure.  All Randolph residents are reminded that these types of calls are fraudulent and to be vigilant and guard against providing personal information upon receiving these type of scam calls.

On October 4, 2019 – Two (2) Randolph residents in the Ironia section of town reported the theft or loss of packages delivered to or left for pick up on the front porch’s of their respective residences.   One of the packages was delivered by USPS, while the other was a return left for UPS pick up.

On October 5, 2019 – Following a motor vehicle stop,  P.O. Kyle Hefferon arrested Ivonne A. Lugo, age 59 of Dover, NJ for Possession of Marijuana under 50 grams.  Ms. Lugo was processed accordingly, issued a Complaint-Summons and several motor vehicle summonses for her violations, then advised of her mandatory first court appearance date in Randolph Twp. Municipal Court.

On October 5, 2019 - P.O. Christopher Senyk arrested Matt V. Kaegi, age 30 of Randolph, NJ on an ATS and ASC warrant out of Netcong Municipal Court.  Mr. Kaegi was processed accordingly, then released with a date for a mandatory court appearance in Netcong Municipal Court.

On October 12, 2019 – Following a motor vehicle stop, P.O. Kyle Hefferon arrested Santiago Atehortuacolora, age 24 of Randolph NJ on an ATS warrant out of Morris Township NJ, an ACS warrant out of Morris Plains, NJ and an ACS warrant from New Jersey State Police - Hope.  Mr. Atehortuacolora was issued several motor vehicle summonses for his violations, then advised of his mandatory court appearance dates in municipal court for each respective jurisdiction.

On October 14, 2019 – P.O. Brett Sommer arrested Mark J. Forte, age 29 of Bayville, NJ on two (2) ATS warrants; one (1) out of Denville, NJ, and one (1) out of Berkeley Township, NJ.   Mr. Forte was processed accordingly, then advised of his mandatory court appearance dates in both Denville and Berkeley Township Municipal Courts.

On October 26, 2019 – Following a motor vehicle stop, P.O. Bryan Blauvelt arrested  Juan P. Giraldo-Dominguez, age 26 of Dover, NJ for Possession of Marijuana under 50 Grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.   Mr. Giraldo-Dominguez was processed accordingly, issued a Complaint-Summons for his violations, then released with a mandatory first court appearance date in Randolph Twp. Municipal Court.

 

In the month of October, Randolph Township Police responded to and investigated 94 motor vehicle accidents.
