The Paramus Police Department announces the arrest of Erick Saldana, 35 yoa, of Paterson NJ for two commercial burglaries that occurred at Wendy’s 190 West Route 4 (Eastbound) and at Tee Shirt Guys located within the Bergen Town Center Mall.

On August 14, 2020, after the closing of the store, a male suspect, entered the Tee Shirt Guy Kiosk located in the Bergen Town Center. The suspect stole at least 2 cash drawers containing approximately $485.00 cash. The suspect also attempted to take merchandise but was unsuccessful.

On August 17, 2020 a male entered a rear door of the Wendy’s located at 190 West Route 4 at approximately 3:50 am. The suspect entered several cash registers located in the store and stole approximately $150.00 cash.

Paramus Detective Jack Cacamis and Detective Paul Siemon investigated both of these burglaries. The Detectives were able to develop evidence  that led to the identification and arrest of Erick Saldana for both incidents. On August  21, 2020, Saldana was arrested, booked and charged . He was transported to Bergen County Jail awaiting a detention hearing. The defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
