BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A South Bound Brook man was arrested for shoplifting after he was found with more than $300 worth of items from Target, in the Bridgewater Promenade, according to a report from Bridgewater Township Police.

Marc A. Claudio, 24, was arrested Feb. 16 at 1:26 p.m.

According to the report, he was found with computer equipment valued at $333.69.

Claudio was taken to Somerset County Jail, pending a future court date.

Police made other arrests for shoplifting and more in mid February.

  • Christian A. Gutierrez, 21, of Bound Brook, was arrested for shoplifting Feb. 15 at 2:20 p.m. after he was found with baby formula, valued at $91, from Target, in the Bridgewater Promenade. He was processed and released pending a court date.
  • A resident of Riha Street reported Feb. 8 that there was a burglary to his residence, and cash and a BB gun were taken.
  • A Carnoustie Drive resident reported a burglary to his home Feb. 11.
  • John L. Abner, 26, of Manville, was arrested Feb. 14 at 9:45 p.m. on an outstanding warrant. He was unable to post bail, and was taken to Somerset County Jail pendng a future court date.
