08/06 - At 2246 hours a report was taken for criminal mischief to a parked vehicle. The vehicle had been left in a rear lot behind a Maple Street office building between 1800 and 2100 hours on this date. The victim returned to the vehicle and discovered that an object had been dropped from the parking garage onto the vehicle damaging the glass sunroof. At the time of the report, the victim was unsure of what the cost to repair the sunroof would be.

08/08 - At 1221 hours a report was taken for a theft of an unsecured bicycle from a business on DeForest Avenue. The victim reported the incident occurred about five (5) minutes prior to the report being made when the victim entered a business establishment and returned outside to discover the bicycle stolen. Taken was a black Giant brand bicycle with a white light on the front handlebars, a red rear light under the seat and an air pump in a storage bag under the seat. At the time of the report, the bicycle was valued at approximately $1,000.00.

08/08 - At 1330 hours a report was taken for a theft of a package from a Dennis Place residence. The victim reported the incident occurred between 1207 hours and 1400 hours on 08/07. Taken from the front steps was a FedEx delivery package containing one (1) silver/white Dyson Air Purifier. The total value of the item at the time of the theft was approximately $427.00.

08/08 - At 1731 hours a report was taken for a burglary to a Broad Street business. The victim reported the incident occurred between 1645 hours and 1731 hours when an unknown individual gained entry to the business by prying open a window. At the time of the report, it was unknown if anything had been stolen. The suspect was described as a slender built, medium brown skin toned male, approximately 5’7”, wearing a black baseball cap, red shirt, gray ripped jeans, white low top sneakers and black gloves.

08/09 - At 1738 hours a report was taken for a theft of two (2) unsecured bicycles from the rear yard of a residence on Morris Avenue. The first theft occurred approximately one (1) month ago, when a kid sized bicycle with Spiderman on the frame was stolen from the backyard. The second theft occurred in the early morning hours of 08/07 when a green Trek mountain bicycle was stolen from the backyard. The two bicycles were valued for a combined total of $700.00 at the time of the theft.

08/10 - At 0708 hours a report was take for a theft of a television from a Valemont Way residence. The victim reported the incident occurred between 0200 hours and 0708 hours. Taken from the home was one (1) 65” Hisense Roku TV, valued atapproximately $350.00.

08/10 - At 1206 hours a report was taken for a theft of a package from the front step of a Woodland Avenue residence. The victim reported the incident occurred at approximately 2340 hours when a white male of medium build, wearing glasses, a green t- shirt, and green shorts looked into the package and then removed it from the steps. Taken was one (1) case of Evian water, valued at approximately $20.00.

08/10 - At 1442 hours a report was taken for a theft of a package from the front step of a Hillcrest Avenue residence. The victim reported the incident occurred at approximately 2322 hours when a white male of medium build, wearing glasses, a green t- shirt and green shorts removed the package from the steps. Taken was a box containing pencils, valued at approximately $35.00.

08/12 - At 0547 hours a report was taken for a burglary to a Beekman Road residence. The victim reported the incident occurred between 2200 and 0030 hours when an unknown actor(s) entered the residence through an unsecured door. Taken from a counter was one (1) bright pink Valentino purse containing: one (1) pair of pink aviator style Ray Ban sunglasses, one (1) pair of blue aviator style Ran Ban sunglasses, one (1) Louis Vuitton credit card wallet, several credit cards, miscellaneous make-up and approximately $200.00 in cash. Additionally, one (1) white wicker shell shaped clutch purse with a gold chain was removed and one (1) men’s black Prada bifold wallet that contained several credit cards. The total value of the stolen items at the time of the report $3,058.00.

08/14 - At 1526 hours a report was taken for a theft of packages from a Springfield Avenue residence. The victim reported the incident occurred on 08/13 when an employee of a recycling company was witnessed examining the contents of the Amazon packages. When the witness returned a short time later, both boxes were gone. Taken were one (1) pair of blue Sperry boat shoes valued at approximately $374.95 and one (1) small, white electric fan valued at approximately $106.61.

08/15 - At 1029 hours a report was taken for an attempted burglary to a parked, secured motor vehicle in the driveway of an OxBow Lane residence. The victim reported the incident occurred in the overnight hours of 08/14 into 08/15. The vehicle’s door lock appeared to have been tampered with asnone of the keys would work to unlock the vehicle and the lock appeared to be loose.

08/17 - At 0631 hours a report was taken for an attempted motor vehicle burglary to several vehicles parked in driveways on Baltusrol Road. A witness saw a younger black male wearing a black Nike hooded sweatshirt, white gloves, black pants and black shoes attempt to gain entry to vehicles in several different driveways. At the time of the report, not damage was done to the vehicles, and nothing had been removed as the vehicles were secure.

08/17- At 0945 hours a repot was taken for a burglary to an unsecured motor vehicle parked in the driveway to an Ascot Way residence. The suspects were caught on a camera attempting to make entry into several other (secured) vehicles in other driveways on Ascot Way. At the time of the report, it was unknown what had been removed from the initial vehicle that was entered.

08/18 - At 1725 hours a report was taken for a burglary to an unsecured motor vehicle parked in the driveway of a Briant Parkway residence. The victim discovered the vehicle door standing open and the glove box and console had been rummaged through. At the time of the report it was determined nothing of value had been removed from the vehicle.

08/18 - At 2248 hours a report was taken for a theft of an unsecured bicycle at a Springfield Avenue business. The victim reported the incident occurred between 1930 hours and 2210 hours on the same date. Taken was a black/gray women’s Trek road bicycle. At the time of the report, the bicycle was valued at approximately $500.00.

08/19 - At 1328 hours a report was taken for a theft of an unsecured bicycle from a business on DeForest Avenue. The victim reported the incident occurred between 1320 and 1325 hours when the bicycle had been left unattended. Taken was a black/red Specialized mountain bicycle with the words, “Maxxis,” printed in yellow on the front wheel, and blue ribbons tied to the rear wheel. At the time of the report, the bicycle was valued at approximately $1,000.00.

08/20 - At 0948 hours a report was taken for a theft of a cell phone from a River Road business. The incident occurred on 08/18 at approximately 1506 hours. Taken from the business was a white iPhone 6 or 7 with a blue case cardholder, valued at approximately $500.00. The cardholder contained several gift cards, a debit card and approximately $30.00 in cash. At the time of the theft, the total value of stolen items was approximately $530.00.
