7/18 - Christopher J. Bruno-Benn, 23, of Irvington was arrested on two (2) contempt of court warrants out of Irvington. Mr. Bruno-Benn was processed and released with a pending court date. 

7/18 - At 1147 hours a report was taken for a theft of services from a business on Broad Street. The victim reported that a customer had removed a vehicle from a service center on Broad Street and left the area prior to paying a diagnostic fee that was owed to the business. The victim reported the total amount that was not paid was $151.18. 

7/21 - At 1524 hours a report was taken for a theft of a package from a Springfield Avenue home. The victim reported the incident occurred on 7/7 when an Amazon package had been delivered to the residence. The victim was able to view footage that showed an older, thinly built black male, black/gray hair, black sunglasses, blue sleeveless t-shirt, light blue/white basketball shorts, blue fanny pack, white sneakers and black bicycle gloves respond to the residence and remove the package from the steps. The suspect then fled on foot towards Springfield Avenue. Total value of the stolen items was approximately $50.00.

7/22 - At 1051 hours a report was taken for a theft from an unsecured vehicle parked on Broad Street. The victim reported the incident occurred on 7/19 at approximately 1213 hours. Removed from the unsecured vehicle was one (1) blue and red bi-fold Louis Vuitton men’s wallet. Inside the wallet were numerous credit cards and personal forms of identification. At the time of the report, the total value of the stolen wallet was approximately $1,100.00. 

7/24 - At 1609 hours a report was taken for a theft of money. The victim reported to have provided a cash deposit to the suspect on 5/18 in the amount of $3,500.00 for work to be completed on the victim’s vehicle. The victim then returned to the suspects residence on 5/19 to retrieve the cash deposit, advising that the work was no longer to be completed. After weeks of trying to retrieve the deposit, the victim had thus been unsuccessful and responded to police headquarters to document the matter. 

7/27 - At 1517 hours a report was taken for a theft of eyeglass frames from a Springfield Avenue business. The victim reported the incident occurred sometime between 1000 hours and 1500 hours on this date. Taken from the business were three (3) pairs of eyeglass frames (one [1] pair of Prada frames and two [2] pairs of Zero G frames). Total value of the stolen items at the time of the report was approximately $1,600.00. 

7/27 - At 1939 hours a report was taken for a theft of a bicycle from a secured storage area on Locust Drive. The victim reported the incident occurred sometime within the last month. Removed from the secured storage area was a black/white, 14- speed, men’s 2013 carbon frame Specialized Tarmac Sport bicycle. The total value of the stolen bicycle at the time of the report was approximately $2,100.00. 

7/28 - Shana M. Grindlinger, 34, of Mountainside was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. Ms. Grindlinger was processed and released with a pending court date. 

7/29 - At 1022 hours a report for a burglary to a Union Place residence was taken. The victim reported the incident occurred between 0100 hours and 0700 hours on this date. Taken from the apartment was one (1) black Mac laptop computer, one (1) black wallet, one (1) pair of brown Ray Ban sunglasses, and three (3) credit cards. Total value of the items taken at the time of the report was approximately $3,100.00. 

7/30 - At 1108 hours a report was taken for a theft of a cell phone from a Springfield Avenue business. The victim reported the incident occurred between 7/15 and 7/27 when an iPhone XR 64GB was removed from the business. The total value of the cell phone at the time of the report was approximately $749.00. 

8/3 - Wender Morales-Ortiz, 34, of Summit was arrested and charged with resisting arrest. Mr. Morales-Ortiz was processed and released with a pending court date. 

8/9 - Charles A. Wright, 59, of Denville was arrested on a contempt of court warrant out of Morris County. Mr. Wright was processed and subsequently transported to the Morris County Jail where custody was transferred to their Sheriff’s Officers. 

8/17 - Joseph Piscioneri, 54, of Summit was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. Mr. Piscioneri was processed and released with a pending court date.
