5/22 - At 2127 hours a report was taken for a theft of services from a business on Morris Essex Turnpike. The victim reported the incident occurred on the same date when a black Infiniti sedan entered the business. The suspect requested the victim to, “fill the gas tank.” Upon doing so, the victim removed the gas nozzle from the vehicle, followed by the suspect fleeing the scene heading east. The theft of services consisted of approximately $36.00 in 89 Octane Gasoline. 

5/23 - Daron Allen, 38, of Newark was arrested on a contempt of court warrant out of Bloomfield. Mr. Allen was processed and released with a pending court date. 

5/27 - Omar Antonio Molina-Amaya, 38, of Summit was arrested and charged with simple assault. Mr. Molina-Amaya was processed and released with a pending court date.

5/27 - At 1738 hours a report was taken for a theft of an unsecured motor vehicle left in a Park Avenue driveway. The victim reported the incident occurred between 1700 hours on 5/26 and 1738 hours on 5/27. The victim relayed that a gray, Garmin Navigation system and a pair of black, Fox sunglasses had been removed from the vehicle. The total value of the stolen items was approximately $380.00. 

5/28 - At 1124 hours a report was taken for a theft from a business on Beauvoir Avenue. The victim reported the incident occurred on 5/23 between 1200 hours and 1330 hours. Taken from a secure office within the business was approximately $100.00 in cash, removed from the victim’s purse. At the time of the report, there appeared to have been nothing else missing from the victim’s purse. 

5/30 - At 1442 hours a report was taken for a theft from an unsecured motor vehicle parked in the driveway of a Highland Drive residence. The victim reported the incident occurred between 2145 hours on 5/29 and 0745 hours on 5/30. Taken from the unsecured vehicle was approximately $15.00-$30.00 worth of cash. 

6/1 - Andriy S. Blyednov, 42, of Newark, was arrested and charged with defiant trespassing and a contempt of court warrant out of Summit. Mr. Blyednov was processed and released with a pending court date. 

6/1 - Wender Morales-Ortiz, 34, of Summit was arrested and charged with obstruction, possession of CDS and resisting arrest. Mr. Morales-Ortiz was processed and released with a pending court date. 

6/2 - Scott E. Blake, 52, of Union City was arrested and charged on two (2) contempt of court warrants out of Kenilworth and Hoboken. Mr. Blake was processed and released with pending court dates for both municipalities. 

6/4 - Nnamdi S. Nwigwe, 28, of Maplewood was arrested and charged with manufacturing/distribution, use of paraphernalia and possession of CDS. Mr. Nwigwe was processed and released with a pending court date. 

6/10 - At 1619 hours a report was taken for a fraud from a Chatham Road business. The victim reported to have received two (2) e-mails from an acquaintance requesting iTunes gift cards for two (2) separate amounts totaling $900.00 to purchase gifts for family members while out of the country. The victim was then contacted a third time, from a similar e-mail address requesting an additional $300.00 in iTunes gift cards, however, became suspicious and notified police regarding the incident. 

6/13 - Andriy S. Blyednov, 42, of Newark was arrested on two (2) contempt of court warrants from Springfield Township. Mr. Blyednov was processed and subsequently released with pending court dates. 

6/13 - At 1057 hours a report was taken for a theft of a ring from a Constantine Place residence. The victim reported the incident occurred sometime between 12/26/18 and 6/13/19. Taken from the residence was a 14K gold ring with pearls. The total value of the ring at the time of the report was approximately $500.00. 

6/14 - David J. Rocano-Gonzalez, 21, of Summit was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. Mr. Rocano-Gonzalez was release with a pending court date. 

6/15 - John M. Redunski, 51, of Barnegat Township was arrested on a contempt of court warrant out of Manahawkin. Mr. Redunski was processed and transported to the Cheesequake Rest Area where custody was transferred to Barnegat Police Department. 

6/17 - At 0534 hours a report was taken for a theft of candy from a Union Place business. The victim reported the incident occurred at approximately 0525 hours on the same date when a middle-aged black male, short salt and peppered hair and beard, wearing a blue jacket, and jeans with one (1) pant leg rolled up; and a middle aged white female with gray hair, pulled into a “bun” style wearing a gray sweatshirt. Removed from the business were two (2) packages of Justin’s Peanut Butter Cups, valued at approximately $4.80.
